From Pat H: I just finished reading your article on surviving the Andes plane crash. I would offer an additional solution – Ham Radio… It would have provided a signal for help much faster and very survivable in hostile environments… Thanks for the insight and keep up your great work to educate us on surviving and overcoming!
Answer: That is an excellent point. A quality survival ham radio can make a big difference.

From Dave S: I want to give a great big shout out to Lisa Hutter (she deserves a bonus). I purchased 2 AR-15s… Lisa has been great help in us getting the FFL information for shipment. Without her superior customer service the process would have been harder and would have taken longer for us to get the rifles… Thanks for having her on your staff.
Answer: I couldn’t agree with you more and we are lucky to have Lisa with us to assist our customers.

From Joseph G: In general, when I go out of state, how do I carry my gun legally with me wherever I go around the country?
Answer: If you have a concealed carry permit in your home state you need to understand permit reciprocity and how it works. Basically, you want to find out what other states recognize your permit and will allow you to carry a concealed firearm. If you go to your state’s website they will tell you what other states honor the permit.
From John T: Good Morning, i’m writing this with tears in my eyes, my family and I came down here to Marseille on a short trip. Unfortunately we were mugged at the park of the hotel where we stayed all cash, credit card and mobile phone were stolen off us but luckily we still have our passports with us.
I made contact with my bank but it would take me 5 working days to access funds in my account, the bad news is our flight will be leaving in less than 8-hrs from now but we’re having problems settling the hotel bills and the hotel manager won’t let us leave until we settle the bills.
I’ll need your help financially and i promise to make the refund once we get back home, Please let me know if i can count on you and i need you to keep checking your email because it’s the only way i can reach you. I anticipate your response
Answer: I hope everyone can see that John made some errors in his e-mail and that his e-mail sounds like a robot. Plus, this came from a strange email address that got flagged in our system. Please don’t fall for these scams!
From Mary A: How do you build a shelter from scratch?
Answer: One of the simplest shelters to build is called a lean-to. The way this works is you would take multiple sturdy sticks and learn them against a strong horizontal brace such as a tree or another stick you have running horizontal. After you have the sticks in place you would cover the leaning sticks with leaves, grass, moss, or anything nearby that could provide shelter from the elements.
From Ken C: I really liked your book. I learned so much from you…
